Acupuncture
The insertion of very fine needles in reactive points in order to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
Starting with gentle gua sha, Willow massages and soothes the muscles and skin of the face to promote lymphatic drainage and stimulate collagen production. Next she inserts fine Japanese needles to strategically target lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, discolorations, puffiness, and other signs of aging. She then inserts needles in other parts of the body to assist in boosting your body's internal glow.
Japanese Pediatric Acupuncture
Also known as shonishin, Willow uses this ancient technique to treat babies and children without the use of needles. She implements specialized tools and light touch to gently activate points to alleviate stomachaches, restlessness, sleeplessness,
toothaches/teething, headaches, and many other symptoms.
Willow also uses the following modalities to support and further your results
Cupping
Willow uses glass or plastic "cups" on certain parts of the body (mainly the back, neck, and shoulders) to create suction of the tissues underneath, which can aid in relieving pain, stiffness, inflammation, and can help clear upper respiratory ailments.
Gua Sha
A technique Willow implements using a smoothed quartz or jade tool to gently scrape broad surfaces of the body. Like cupping, it is usually performed on the back, neck, and shoulders, and is used for relieving pain and inflammation, as well as for alleviating upper respiratory symptoms.
Tui Na
Asian body work used to activate points manually and to release tight muscles.
Nutritional & Fertility Counseling
Willow gives each patient specific dietary & lifestyle recommendations, which serve to support overall health and the body's optimal functionality.
